The BBC Film Network's collection of short films and interviews now includes a selection from the Cornwall Film Festival.

Watch "King Chopper - Pimp My Girlie Bike", by Lucy Frears, the tale of a boy transforming his humdrum pushbike into a gleaming pedal-power machine. The website also gives visitors to the website the chance to view "New Boots", a collaboration between local filmmakers Simon Edwards and Denzil Monk, and Fempower, an all-female support group who support each other in raising awareness of domestic violence.


An interview with Mark Jenkin, writer and director of Cornish feature film "The Midnight Drives", is also available to view.


"It's a really good  opportunity for some of the excellent films being made in Cornwall to get national and even worldwide exposure", commented Festival Director John Wojowski, "It's a chance for filmmakers and enthusiasts from outside the region see for themselves the quality of work coming out of the Cornish film industry."


The website showcases a selection of great short films from all over the world, so check out what they have to offer and you may discover some classics in the making!
