If you love film, or your friends love film, or your friends’ friends love film, be a friend to Cornwall. Help us keep our only major film festival going for the ninth straight year this November.

We still need to raise £19,000 to run a streamlined Festival this year.

Cornwall is known and loved around the world. Many famous films have been shot here: Rebecca . . . Poldark . . .The Shell Seekers . . . Jamaica Inn . . . Oscar and Lucinda . . . Saving Grace . . . and Keeping Mum . . . just to name a few.

But only the Cornwall Film Festival actively works to expand the filmmaking industry here.

Uniquely, we also support Cornish and student filmmakers and Cornish-language films. We can’t let the UK government’s budget cuts – in our case, 80% – threaten our existence!

Whether you have only £1 to spare, or £2, £5, or £10 (or more!), we’ll welcome ALL donations. Just be sure to tell all your friends about us. Anywhere in the world, because we’ll take $$$ or € € € or ¥ ¥ ¥ too.

HOW THESE FUNDS WILL BE USED

To bring top quality feature films to Cornwall as well as industry professionals to discuss their work and run excellent filmmaking workshops. To enable Cornish filmmakers to screen their films on a proper cinema screen to an appreciative audience of film lovers and film enthusiasts. To have a fantastic celebration of filmmaking and the amazing talent in Cornwall with parties for everyone to enjoy!
